Epson s80600 Direct print to mag

Howdy,

I have an epson s80600, and I am trying to load up some Visual magnetics thin direct print media and for the life of me my printer will not see the black back.. every time I drop my media lever it wont let me select any media as if nothing is loaded.. It will work on my HP360 but I am hoping to run it on our epson as they need silver ink.

any help would be very kind.

Running magnetic through the printer could cause problems. When I had my s80600 installed, the tech recommended not running magnetic through it. It's better to print on vinyl and apply the vinyl to magnetic stock.

That's odd. I have run plenty of magnet through my S80.

Put a piece of application tape over the rear media sensor. Just bear in mind that you no longer have a working rear sensor if you are running low on media. And take the tape off when you're done.
