Epson S80600 error code

Hi all!

My 1 year old S80600 sometimes stops mid print and throws an error "Circuit Error D26E" or "Circuit Error D269". It happens intermittently, maybe once or twice per week.

I couldn't find anything online related to those error codes, but I did reach out to the dealer (no reply yet).

Any ideas?

Also, my firmware is SA011MB,1.16. <- Is this the latest version?

According to this error code list, codes beginning in D followed by 3 characters aren't supposed to happen in end user mode. Sounds fairly ominous. https://printcopy.info/?mod=erc&brand=Epson&model=SureColor+S80600&page=22

Try a full power cycle, not just normal shut down. Power it down, unplug it, hit the power button for like 10 seconds. Plug it back in and try restarting it. These codes should only happen during debugging, not normal operations.

Okay, I think we figured it out (fingers crossed). The wrong firmware was installed. I updated it with the latest version on Epson's website (instead of the one sent to me by the dealer).

Guess we'll see how it goes!
