ERROR 08 LINEAR ENCODER SENSOR

Hi guys, I have a Mimaki CJV30-100. I keep getting a ERROR 08 Linear Encoder Sensor. I needed to replace my Drive belt, I initially thought this might be causing the error. The encoder strip is clean, and the sensor light shines red. So the part itself should be working. I replaced the drive belt, vacuumed the whole machine inside, the pulleys and all the belts on the sides sit perfectly. I ordered a new sensor and a new encoder strip already, but I dont think they are faulty. When it powers on it stops at exactly the same place every time just before the head reaches the cap and then gives the error. It stops just before the Y-origin sensor before the metal flag passes through it. Any advice? my parts are only coming next week from Digiprint, and im getting very far behind with work. Ive attached photos to show exactly where it stops. Same place every time. I also attached photo of the encoder strip at that exact point and its not damaged or dirty. I removed and unplugged the encoder sensor, I wiped the inside of the gap where the sensor light is and cleaned with air. The new belt fits perfect, runs smooth. I did see someone on a different post mention Y-origin sensor, but the head stops before it reaches it.

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
Dirty sensor or bad/dirty encoder strip is most likely. Since it is having issues in same spot, I am guessing the strip. Also, double-posting just makes spams up the forums. We're not your 24/7 on call tech support. If you're impatient, just call out a tech.

I didn’t expect anyone to be on call, I only posted on an older related thread after this in case someone else got an alert. Unfortunately I stay in a small town hours away from techs and getting an appointment takes weeks. I will take care not to so that again.

Hi, I located the problem by 'spamming' multiple other forums. Your very rude comment was not only unnecessary, but your answer/advise was also incorrect. I seriously doubt anyone else felt 'spammed' by seeing my question twice on this forum, and giving me a FU with middle finger is just uncalled for. You know you can just ignore something if you dont like it. I'm sure you are extremely knowledgeable in all things Mimaki, but this time you were wrong, and rude.
