Estimator/Project Manager wanted:
Ion Art, a locally owned company specializing in signage and architectural interior design, is currently seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager.
Primary responsibilities include creating bidding contracts and estimates, as well as managing projects through production and completion phases.
- Must be familiar with the sign production process, including variety of materials used, as well as a firm grasp on the labor and time projection estimates involved in fabrication and installation.
- Must have experience estimating sign contracts from designer artwork and/or engineer drawings. - Must have working knowledge of structure, fabrication, and engineering behind all types of signage, including channel letters, reverse channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, architectural exterior signs, as well as custom designs in a variety of mediums and materials. Signage and lighting solutions could include LED, fluorescent, and neon lighting.
- You must be organized and independent: able to follow through on tasks, calls, and emails in a polite and timely manner.
- Accuracy and attention to detail a must. You should be able to work under deadlines while juggling multiple projects.
- Must take pride in quality work done well
- Must be familiar with Excel
Bonus points: familiar with Pay Applications, RFP’s, RFI’s, JHA’s, and Construction contracts
