Hey, need some help disabling the low ink detect on an old Roland ESX 500 machine. I want to use it as a cutter only, but keeps wanting me to give it ink. The print is terrible so its really only a cutter at this point. I think it is also called an SC 500 by some. Thanks

If it's the same cartridge design as the newer Roland:s you could just tape in the tab on the cartridge. The tab pops out when the cartridge is empty, telling the printer it needs replacing. If you tape in the tab on the cartridge it will read as full, or am I totally wrong?
