Experience Moving Flatbed Printer?

Have any? We just bought our first flat bed, and it's only about 40 miles from us. I didn't know if anyone here may have experience trying to move a unit in ONE piece. (Without breaking the gantry off.) I'm trying to figure out a way to get a platform underneath the table and just jack it up and wheel it in our trailer.

I have some initial sketches for a design I think will work - just didn't know if anyone had some really great methods or tips - or has done this before and knows maybe something NOT to do...????
