Hello!

Any good/bad experiences with the new printers from HP? 25500 and 65500?

Best Regards

The only thing I heard so far from an installation technician was that you really need to group your print jobs or keep the machine constantly printing otherwise there is a long period of waiting for it to heat up before each print job. I think he said it's like 20 minutes from a cool start until it's ready to print each time.

We have just installed a 25500 at my work.
I haven't heard it should take that long time...
Heard from a salesguy from Epson that it uses a lot of power for the IR heaters. The datasheet says 4.8 kW for the 60inches version. Don't know if that is a lot?

That's like 3 heat guns at once, or 48 old fashioned 100w light bulbs.

Yah, I read that too. But exhausting fumes is just as harmful to the environment.

Good thing we have nuclear energy it powers our printers.

SJM: What do you mean with: "Exhausting fumes is just as harmful to the environment"?

Isn't just a matter of time before the energy consumption is down to a normal level?
