Factory Font?

I am thinking this is not a regular font, but a manufacturer-specific font, am I correct? (I am hoping I am wrong!)

I enlarged the image and converted it to high contrast black and white. FindMyFont was unable to find a match. Perhaps it will help someone else.

It is kind of similar to Concave Tuscan, but a little wider and not as bold.
I can't find anything closer and Identifont finds no similar fonts...

It's better to have two hands than one glove.
LHF Smalts seems a reasonable match.

That is an RJ Marx/Pierce proprietary font. LHF Smalts is the closest match. You can contact RJ Marx and they should be able to set up the lettering in eps format at their hourly design rate.

You don't know what they might call that typestyle do you?

The customer keeps insisting that we did their old trucks, but I cannot find them in the archives as the files are not named well from back then. I was able to find one piece of artwork that was created with their typestyle but it was converted to outlines.

That is listed as "style 10" in their catalog. I actually just talked to them a few weeks ago about their fonts. They were all digitized in house from their hand painted work over the years. They do some really nice work and keep the old traditional look alive.
