hello everyone. i am a noob to solvent printers, so please be patient with me. i have purchased a used falcon outdoor jr and i am having a strange problem with it. when i go to print something the printer starts the printing process and seems to finish. the problem is that the print is blank. i thought maybe the heads are clogged, so i did a nozzle check. well all colors print out on the nozzle check. does anyone have any idea as to why it would print the ink with nozzle check but not with the file?

i printed one 5x5 photo then it wouldnt print anymore. i am using flexisign pro 8.1. i tried from another computer as well. then i even tried direct from lpt port since i was using a parallet to usb converter. still no change
You printed one photo, so does that mean there was ink on the media that time? The more specific you are in problem description the sooner we can attack the problem. Have you seen the machine printing by a RIP. FLexi should work with direct parallel cable if settings are OK and if the machine starts and head move it has accepted the job. Paco

sorry bout that. yes i printed one photo with success(using usb to parallel converter). the man i bought it from showed me it printing a couple of banners from it by flexi rip. as far as settings, what if anything should i change within the setup. i just clicked lpt and left everything as default when setting up for lpt port. all prints since the successful one have been coming out blank. it accepts job and head moves as if it were printing but nothing.
