Fast Font -------->

Need some suggestions on a font that denotes speed. Just cant find anything that I find interesting. Suggestions would be great. Thanks

Are you looking for a script or more of a block font? Serpentine italic is "fast" looking, and Letterhead Fonts and SignDNA have some nice scripts that may work for you if that's what you're looking for. Also artandsignstudio.com has Xtreme Script and some other cool ones.

Or you can use a shadow and make any font look fast...

Just make an out line, off set the letter, and trim. You can even use a progressively lighter shade of your lettering for each shadow.

If this doesn't make sense, I will post up an example when I get back to the shop.

See attached. I just copied the letter (and this is just an arial bold font) to the left, outlined the original letter and made the out line white. The little section is a lighter shade...

Just my two pennies in the bucket.

There is also Barbatrick (font), but it is a pain to weed,

If you have a plugin such as Alien Skin's Eye Candy you can add a motion trail to give the illusion of speed
