One of my favourite scenes was when Kojak and his partner are wondering how to surprise a room full of baddies when a cat appears and mills about the door. So he scratches the door softly, fooling those inside into thinking it's "just the cat", and when they open the door, they find Kojak leaning against the door jamb with his trademark lollipop in his mouth saying, in a way no-one else could, "Meow, baby... "
