I have been running the FB700 for around 6 months (I call him Blue, he's my boy) and I am getting tired of having a specific issue.
When I look at the printed media, regardless of the quality setting, it looks streaked. Think latex paint drying too fast, you could run a fingernail over it and hear the ridges.
I notice it with just about every color. I think I need a new pair of cyan and one Lm heads On nozzle checks there is a decent section of one of the Lm heads that is gone, mostly likely head strikes from tile jobs long ago, and it looks like every other nozzle is gone from both cyan heads.
But why would that cause a physical ridge to form while printing? I have seen the "sample" material and it is nowhere near that quality.
Second, more recent development. I notice strong banding on the indoor plus setting. I have done the manual calibration and it didn't change anything.
Are these issues that I can resolve (I have the full manuals and know my way around electronics very well) or do I need to have a tech fix these issues?
