fc7000 in chinese, please help!!

hey all, i was having a couple of issues with my plotter so after reading a few threads it suggested a factory reset. i did this and IT WENT TO CHINESE i have no idea what to do, i tried another factory reset but it just stays chinese.
anyone have an idea on what caused this and how it can be fixed??

hahaha its in japenese, katakana and yes 5 people scratching there heads going wtf????

Load media, turn on power, hit menu, next until you see the menu with background settings, then f2. Press next until you the language options and choose english. From Downloadable pdf manual on graphtec site.

as above but you might as well do it with your eyes shut and count the key presses.
