FC9000-160 Take-up operation question

"When “TAKE UP SENSOR” is set to ON, take-up operation is executed after completing one cut job."

For long cut jobs is there any way to set it so the take-up real works while actually cutting? I can't believe it would be this limited.

Yes, there is. Call the dealer who sold it to you about changing the settings for the take-up roll.
Ours all have them and they do roll-to-roll, but I am not an operator of them myself, so I cannot tell you how to get them set up correctly.
Trigon Imaging in Cincinnati should also be able to help you since you're in Ohio, that's who set ours up.
