click on TOOLS > CUSTOMIZATION > DOCUMENT > GENERAL and check fill open curve!

Same in Illy - nothing but problems when importing into other apps.

riddle me this - How come when shapes that are clearly closed in Gerber, when exported to Illy become open shapes(in Illy)? (Course, I have a fairly old version of Gerber, maybe it's already been fixed)
