finding crop marks - sp 300

my machine is finding 3 of the 3 crop marks, then send error message, crop mark not found......it is right there, any hints on helping the machine find it? media is 3m controltac with 3m lam......joeb

There should be 4 crop marks. I take 3 of 3 is a typo?
It could be that your material is skewed, but the pinch roller is probably to close to the 4th registration mark so it isn't reading it.
