Finding Sign Codes

There has to be a solution to checking City's Sign Codes.... Some cities website have it clear but some don't.

Best solution is to call. But document who you talked to.

I think getting to know your city's sign inspectors is a pretty valuable thing to do.

My initiation into the sign industry was compiling sign codes for every address the company was quoting, selling, etc. Compiled over 1400 over 4 years.

Municode is the best source.

Amlegal is another option.

I think there were one or two more, but I can't recall what they were.

We would gather what we could from the above websites then call the city with any unanswered questions.
