I woluldn't recommend using the SS2 ink in the JV-33, for the following reasons........
The SS2 ink is for a JV-3 printer (epson DX4 head), the SS21 is for a JV-33 (Epson DX5 head). I believe the SS21 ink has the same micron size (dye particle size) as the SS2, however the smell is slightly differnet, which leads me to think the solvents are different. This could casue some colagulation (spelling?). I don't think the chips would not be recognized on your JV-33. Unless you want to turn your investment (printer) into a science project your better off delaying the jobs and get the right ink.

PS- For the Aussie fellow, Triangle INX has a bulk solution for the JV-33, and JV-5.
