Fixing sign panels to marble?

Guess I need to go back and take another look.

Does anyone have any idea what type of adhesive that is around the edge? It's been used to seal the acrylic to the marble and looks grey in colour? More importantly, is it likely to be easy to remove?

No way to know, Usually it's silicone, but could be anything.
One nice thing is marble should clean up well since its so hard & smooth.
Just don't scratch it.
