Fixing USB port on a Roland camm 1 pro

The USB port on my 9+ year old camm1 pro cutter has died, cutter works fine except for the USb port. how hard is it to replace the port, want to see if it is something that can be done in case I decide to fix it.

This cutter won't be getting much use either way as I have an army on fc9000s now but this roland is very special as it was my first real cutter I started the business with, It will be passed down as a hairloom lol.

Simply connect it to your computer with a serial to USB cable. Search Googole for more info.

Just open it up and solder/wire a new one.
