I know the flat metro look is very popular right now. I have been gathering links of icons since we have been working on a new web design, and I put some of them together along with downloads here:

Also cool to see the color combos and how something simple can be effective. Just cause we have the option to use strokes, shadows and gradients...doesn't mean we need to.
