Flexi 10.5 not displaying Postscript fonts

Flexi 10.5 running on Win 7, Last Friday Just started not displaying Postscript fonts. If type in some Text using a true type font then scroll down the font list and change it to a sdobe postscript font it just disappears.

This morning I went to open a file I made a year ago and apparently used a postscript font in, and the background is there but the text is simply gone. I can't even select anything to try and cahnge the font.

What going on? Any Ideas?

Below is a pic of what is happening. If I change the Font to any postscript this is what I see, Then if you unselect the font it just disappears altogether. You can undo and it will change back to the old font.

It's caused by Windows update #Kb2753842. You need to uninstall it in the windows update window and then search for updates again, highlite it, and then "hide" it so that it doesn't install again.

Tried that and screwed up my computer, upon restart it say it can't find desktop config settings. System restore fixed that, but still have update installed.

Go to control panel, programs and features. on left upper click on view installed updates and remove all 12/12/12 updates. This worked for me on flexi 8.1 and win7.
