Flexi 8.1 - Letters are squished....

Needing some help here. For some reason whenever this morning I am opening a file rather it be a new file or old file all the letters are automatically closer together where there basically overlapping each other. Is there possibly a setting or a hot key I hit to do this and if so how do I undo it. Help is appreciated
