Flexi and roland 24gx cutting

Okay I have a old falcon and a new roland 24gx when I try to cut on my roland after printing I need to turn the paper so the arrows are pointing up. Is there a way to stop the printer from making my marks print from left to right and make print them from top to bottom... I hope this makes sense.

If you can see in the pic how the arrow are on the side I need the to be on the top.

This is stopping me from cutting long graphics...

Also using Flexi 8.1

I thought the Roland would only read the "Roland Crop Marks" ( Circles in the corners of your design). Never seen a Roland recognized the arrows as you have shown....

It is just circles (as far as I know) that it reads. I use Ai to do everything though. Roland has a plugin that puts in those registration marks for print/cut applications.

Yes it does read the circles the arrows tell you how to feed it into the cutter.

OP I think I tried something like that but I will look in to it more when I get home....

West you are right about the plug in- but how do you print from AI?

I design in AI then print from flexi

That's what came with the printer.

I know for me to switch between my printers, I just go to print from Ai and in the printer selection box choose which printer that I want to use.

Now if you need to reverse the image or anything like that, you'll have to change the settings in the output section of the printing dialog box. If there are any specific icc profiles that you need to use that will be in the "color" section of the printing dialog box.
