Flexi skipping

We are having trouble with Flexi (7.6v2) dropping out. At the beginning of printing (on a Mamaki JV3) we get an error message. Sometimes there is no skipping. Sometimes it will happen at the beginning of a print (as in spit out 4-6 inches and then pick up again). Worst of all is when the jump happens at toward the end of a big print. Any suggestions?
