Flexi Starter 8.6 for $99

Anybody tried this?

I do most of my design in Corel and Adobe I also have Gerber Omega 1.56.
I was thinking about getting this to run a vinyl express plotter. Does this seem like a good idea?

does omega not work for your plotter?

I use starter on a mac, great for cut vinyl, no trouble at all, you just have to learn it.

Omega works but not well.

I was able to cut some vinyl using the HPGL driver in Omega, but after a couple of cuts, the spool freezes up and you have to reboot the computer.

That, you can imagine, is more than a nuisance.

I've found a driver specifically for my plotter (Vinyl Express Panther GRC-61) but can't install it in Omega - or I don't know how.
