Hey guys I am looking for some advice from those of you that run your Gerber equipment with Flexi. I picked up a nice used Edge LE & Envision a while ago and have not been able to get the software to recognize the port for either machine in Production Manager. Here are the specifics of my setup:
- Flexi 8.6v2 on a 64bit Windows 7 PC - I have 2 of these setup as production/rip stations, tested on both. Also tested on a older Vista Machine.
- I purchased the Gerber serial & Parallel USB cables/ adapter and installed drivers - cable & adapter are recognized and installed properly.
- I have tested several port settings in device manager & almost every available setup and port option in production manager and always get "cannot open port" or nothing at all.
- I ran a Edge 2 and Envision from this very same PC & software using Gerber USB cables for a 6 month period a couple years ago without any issues - up and running almost immediately.
I feel like there is something simple I am missing here, any suggestions? Thanks!
