Flexisign- no longer a custom workspace import?

I have used Flexi since version 5 [I think] and have always enjoyed it. I am switching to a new faster puter with a better graphics card- always going to be a pita. No problem with Flexi-SAI [unlike Fusion 360] but have both operational again. I have created my own workspace many years ago [maybe version 7?] and been able to import it into every version up to today [24.2.0 subscription]- there is no longer an import for an existing workspace. Anyone help please? Gene

Since version 24 released, that feature was cut-off, they also removed some other workspaces as Omega, SL, SW... You only customize the new one now.

Thanks- you can no longer export as .ai, which I thought was pretty universally used. I am on a subscription plan, can I go back to an earlier version? Thanks Gene

I THINK you can. I was on v19 until recently and they made me upload v24. I can still use v19 but I'm trying to adjust to the new version.

Export design to AI is still available there, Flexi called Adobe Illustrator Legacy Versions

Wow, I have 24.1.0, build #4510 and my first option is still .AI, but now called Adobe Illustrator Legacy Versions. I guess I need to be careful not to upgrade.

Version 24 has AI and PDF import and export. But not version 25. Here is a opy of what I received from SAI support. It makes no sense, why would you upgrade and lose abilities?

I've also had issues importing PDF, EPS and AI files. I'm keeping both 24 and 25 on this workstation, hoping they somehow change their minds and fix it instead. Otherwise I'll keep using version 24.

I had Flexi 22.0.3 on the puter I am phasing out [when life was good] and had .ai and my custom workspace worked. If you make a custom workspace in version 22.3 and try to modify it, you lose anything you have previously done- IE- you must make every change and save it...
or start over.

For the record, they've decided to fix this because enough people complained about it. According to the reps I talked to they removed the feature because it was "too dated"
There is also a serious glitch with the braille in Flexi 24 - if you ask a rep they will give you a copy of 22 to use until they get their act together.
