Flickr SIGN Photostream... Gary Anderson

I am providing a link to my recently created Flickr photostream.
The slideshow contains some of my favorite signs of Indiana. The majority of them are confirmed works of Gary Anderson.

Most of the photos were taken last fall.
I had an awesome day taking them and can not wait to be able to do it again.

I hope you enjoy them and find them as inspiring as I do.

Late last summer I searched the SignCraft archives to find all Gary Anderson related articles and photos. It was my intention to personally photograph as many of his signs as possible for study, especially color use. Unfortunately, many of the business's no longer exist and many of his signs are gone. It is sad to realise that many of those signs may have been simply deposited in the trash.

Bump for a few new photographs.

Oh yea... A short time after I originally posted this thread, I received something in the mail. It was a book by Gary Anderson called "More Signs Graphics & Stuff". It is awesome. I DID NOT order it. It simply arrived and none of my coworkers or family know where it came frome... which means somebody who viewed this thread wanted me to have it! Thanks to whoever made that happen. It is appreciated more than you know.
