foil durability

Does anyone have real life experience with Summa's Durachrome Metallic Foil outdoor durability? The Ribbon Color Guide states upto 2yr for the matte and "indoor only" for the metallic. I just did a print with Mirror Silver, and I can't scratch it at all; the vinyl tore up before the foil failed.
I did buy a ribbon of Scratch Guard, only to find out that it will not transfer over the Mirror foils.
Thanks for sharing your experiences!

The problem of the metallic Ribbon that avoids outdoor use is not the scratch resistance ... it could happen that the metallic coating starts oxydizing when used outdoor.
