I should know this one, I can come close but in this case close isn't sufficient. Can someone tell me just what font this might be?

It has elements of a number of art deco fonts and I can only tell you that it isn't a commonly available one. Some that are close but no cigar are:

    • Plaza
    • Cinema Solid
    • Avenida
    • Premier
    • Washington
    • Anything in the 22 pages of Retro fonts at dafont.com

    Thanks for the try.

It turns out to be something called 'Design Medium', at least that's what it's called at Castcraft Software aka OPTIfont. That would appear to be the only place it's available in digital form. Would that it were available somewhere else just a taste more agile and less pricey.
