It's a Garamond that has been stepped on pretty hard. Best guess is that it started out as ITC Garamond Book.

He got these done 2 years ago at a Kinkos type of shop. Said they typed it out right there and showed them to him and he picked them up later that day. I don't think they would have done much to it. Other then the obvious stretch and alaign... But not sure. I just can't seem to find the font with the curve in the sherifs as these ar...Thanx Everyone...M*

There are about a dozen different "versions" of Garamond, you likely are comparing the garamond from Windows office or other MS installs. They use a very poor Garamond (IMO) with more angular serifs
