Does anyone recognize this font? I tried whatthefont.com and didn't find a match. Thanks for looking.

thanks for the help. Does anyone know the best way to print a catalog of fonts from cd's or from flexi? Or the best way to view the different fonts on a cd?
Thanks again, Dastripeman

In this instance, there was no match on whatthefont.
Sometimes, if you trace your bitmap to vector and then export that as your sample, it might work.
Most of the time I just know the typeface but the above is just one tool in the bag of tricks.

you are really good tho Shovel. I used to be better when I used letter set, and my first sign set up HTD. then we got signlab and all the names of the fonts are different. really scews you up.

Hey Shovelhead, Initially I sent the entire photo to whatthefont.com. It gave me an inaccurate result. After I posted for help here I cropped just the text and stacked it on three lines. When I ran it back thru WTF it gave me Isbell book italic. It was the first time I used WTF. That might be helpful to someone. Thanks again for your response.
