Font help

I'm looking for a font similar to Algerian, but I don't want the extra detail of Algerian for cutting very small letters. Ideas?

algerian basic has the thin drop shadow part removed and is easier to deal with

The thin drop shadow is exactly what I need to eliminate. Unfortunately, I don't have access to Algerian Basic - - anything else close?

If there is not alot of text, you can edit the shapes off and reconnect the open sections. Otherwise, check dafont.com under the gothic section and browse for something
