Findmyfont and other on-line font ID tools are great time saving tools. It's certainly not like it once was when we thumbed through pages of type catalogs and had to learn to recognize and memorize typefaces as part of our job. Thankfully there was not hundreds of thousands of commercially used type faces at the time.
