font masters

All you guys here are serious! I thought i knew fonts. Are you guys using font recognition software or are you really font masters? I keep looking at this thread to see which fonts i know. The ones i do know are always answered before i can respond.

There are a number of type aficionados here with a background in typography. Tikiboyz is probably the best known for that. A number of us also use font identification software.

Speaking for myself, I'm a former type dealer and published the first program to ever identify unknown typefaces in 1993.
