Fonts were substituted while importing a PDF or AI file into Omega 4.0

I was importing a vector PDF or AI file into Omega. Some of the fonts could stay, some of them were substituted. Tried to click the Font Options at the import dialog, after clicking the Browse button at the Font Search Path(s) section, the software threw an exception and exit.

I'm running Omega 4.0.1.15 SP1 on Windows 7 64 bits.

open a new file in AI the same size as that file.
drag and drop that file into your AI file you created.
then go to "FLATTEN TRANSPARENCIES" select "high quality" and check "convert all text to outlines".

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I'm actually creating a backend software, which generates the order from the website to PDF format, and then import them to Omega to print. So after they are imported, I need to adjust the layout, sometimes might need to change the text before process to print. It's inconvenience if they are converted to curves. On the other hand, after the text were converted, they are become individual element in Omega, I need to manually highlight the text and group them together. It takes me extra work and easy to make mistakes.

I'm not sure why some of the fonts work and some don't. Is that because of the font name matching problem or something?

it only can be a like for like meaning you have to have the exact font in your system or it will convert to something you do have.
