Fuji acuity printing problem

Hello people,

Our acuity is creating problems. It takes in the printing file. The heads starts moving but the printing is not being done. There is no error shown on the acuity server. Please help. Very urgent. Fuji service people are out of station. The ink levels are all correct!

What model Acuity do you have? If you open the top cover off the carriage, are their driver boards sitting on top of the printheads? If so, restart machine and see if the lights turn on and then off. If they do turn on, then you are getting power to the boards and it's probably of a coms issue. Reseat ribbon cables to the carriage board. Reseat cable on system control and data relay. There have been reports of firewire cable issues on the newer machines as well so you can reseat the connections on the carriage board and data relay as well. Without seeing the log files and knowing what machine we're talking it about it's difficult to diagnose, but more than likely it's a main communication problem. good luck.
