Need Help Fujifilm Acuity EY / Oce Arizona 360GT Printhead problem

Hi guys,

I want to ask for help in the forum for my flatbed printer. The white ink has 2 printheads on them, one of them works nicely but the other one won't print. The printhead that won't print can flush nicely without any problem. The problem is it just won't print. The service guy told me that the printhead is done for, due to static damage. I wonder if that is the problem, because it flush inks nicely with no clogging visible, but wont print at all.

Thank you for your help.

I ran into this on our old Acuity flatbed. The printheads would produce a good nozzle check but I couldn't ever get a good flood of white. We had one of the lead techs out and he replaced everything related to white ink and it ended up needing new print heads.

There's a difference between pushing ink though the heads, vs the heads jetting ink out.
IF it's not printing, check the ribbon cable first that goes to the head.

Thank you for your input. I managed to unplug the end of the connector that connects the print head and the cable and swap them. Now the problem shifts between the two print heads. So it might be ribbon cable problem or motherboard?

Well that clearly tells you is a problem with the ribbon cable, not the motherboard.
