Hi Everyone
Last March i installed a brand new Acuity EY, it has been printing beautifully until now, the Black 1 printheads show missing nozzles, but this missing nozzles jumps from one nozzle to other, i have checked the ink and vacuum lines an all is ok. I also cleaned the electrical connections (flat cables) but the results are the same, performed an ink filter bleed, performed several purges, i tried also increasing a bit the printing voltage for this printhead but it was of no help.
Since the is no tech support representative here, i am planning to use one of the white printheads and replace it with the black one (white is not often used), but now i got stuck because in order to do the printhead calibrations after been replaced, i need to use a scanner and a software tool.
Does anybody know if there is a manual procedure for that Timing Alignment calibration? Or do you have any other possible solution for this missing nozzles? I know there are only a few nozzles, but when printed on Backlit fabric... you can see the lines on the prints.
I attach a head test. Printheads are toshiba CA4LH
