Fuzzy, Muddy Overprint?

Came in this morning, ran the test squares and this is what I keep getting all day long. The usual gamut of cleanings etc, doesn't seem to make this condition improve. Everything seemed fine yesterday.

Any suggestions?

modesto is that bad huh? i haven't been back since i was 12 or so. we used to live by the hospital, didn't seem that bad back in the 70's

Looks like what I'm dealing with...cross contamination of the dampers and a couple (or more) deflecting/bad nozzles.

OK, after soaking the heads all night and then re-flushing them this morning, I'm still printing the same thing.

When I did the spray tests for each color, I noticed that the nozzles are in fact spraying at different angles on the black, and now cyan. Yellow and magenta are perfect, but then again I wasn't having issues with those colors.

Now that I recognize misaligned nozzles and that they are in fact cross firing, how do I fix it? (or not?) Is this the sign of a bad print head? It's only about a month old. I can't drop another $1200 on a new one.

This does not looks good,
Could be head, head cable or cr board.

Carefully check the seating of the head cable, and the condition of the connector ends.

Looks like a blown head to me...
