General Question regarding Fonts

I have found so many awesome fonts in this thread that you all have identified, my general question is how do you know?

Is there an easy way to find these answers (I guess no since people ask after having looked) is it just you have been around fonts alot and know them by heart? I really am doing my best to learn everything I can regarding signs so I read bunches on the board and want to know how to get better at the fonts.

Time...Lots of time. I also have a book that came with my signlab that I have gone through at least 6000 times. My eyes are shot trying to identify fonts. lol

It mostly comes with experience. I've made several posts on the methods I use which you can search out using the keywords "typograf" and "fontexpert".
