Gerber Edge LE Power Supply

I think the power supply in my trusty workhorse Edge LE just died.
It was working fine and just stopped.
I replaced the two fuses by the switch and the internal one, with freshly purchased fuses.
Still nothing.
Where can I get a power supply for this? Only Gerber? ( I Hope not). I would think that the power
supply could be an "off the shelf" component that Gerber purchases.

It's a given that going through your GSP distributor or working directly with GSP will cost you more. OTOH you are, IMHO, much more assured of a successful outcome.

The one time I've ever needed a major repair for my Edge LE, I called my distributor and they sent me two different boards for substitution. We switched them out with them on the phone one at a time to determine which was at fault. I then returned the unused board and my faulty one to them and I was charged for the one that was bad as well as the next day air freight in and the regular freight back. I was back in operation before the end of the day after I phoned in about it and, considering the support and service I got, I felt the final price was fair.

Good news - I panicked too soon, in doin the usual checking the obvious I found another power cord and it fixed it.

But I know what you mean Fred, it's just that when it comes to a component that could be a generic stock item I have a problem with Gerber's price gouging.
