Gerber Edge

I have recently purchased a edge 2 from a sign shop going out of business and to make a long story short in me getting this up and running I am having troubles sending a design to be printed. It seems as though I keep getting a error message and it doesnt always happen. When it does though the entire setup needs to be shut down.
The message I am getting is error sending to spool file.
Does anyone know the cause and does gerber have a fix for it?
I am very close to selling the entire shop to someone with edge knowledge.
Please help

It sounds like the rainbow sentital driver is set up wrong.
do a search on this forum, under that.
a lot of stuff comes up!
