Gerber Emboss Track 24

I have a Gerber EmbossTrack 24, the units powers on and I am able to do test cut, but can not get this thing to communicate with Flexi 8.1; seems like a very good cutter, does not make any weird noises while operating. I am running Flexi 8.1 in Windows XP, The production manager is set up for the Gerber Emboss track 24 but when I try to send a test cut, the computer cutting percentage status stays in 0% and the printer don't do anything at all.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank You

Is there any way to insure your cable is ok ?

Setup should be 9600,n,8,1 for the communications.
