Gerber Envision cutting poorly on long runs

We have a Gerber Envision that we use for most of our cutting. It's been a great machine but we are having issues with it cutting long runs. The longer a run goes the worse it cuts. The main problem seems to be the depth of the cut. It starts not cutting deep enough on long runs making weeding difficult or impossible. Any suggestions on parts that may be worn out or things we can test. the blade is only a month or so old.

When you go to replace it, be sure to clean any adhesive residue out of the slot that holds it before putting the new one in. Not doing so will result in a wavy surface that will still give uneven cutting.

Not sure how many are in your office, but double-check your blade under a loupe, it may have been dropped by a co-worker.

I hate to be the barer of bad news, but if the cutting strip replacement doesn't work, you may need a cutting head. If it's as old as the strip and you use it all the time, it's probably getting worn out. You can always send it to Gerber for a tune up, and when it gets there, they will suggest any other repairs it might need. We can arrange that if you like.

In the meantime, turn up your force a bit and adjust your blade back into the tool so that it can't possibly cut deeper than the blade is sticking out.
