Gerber font help

Hello all,

I was wondering if there is a way to convert a Gerber font back to a regular windows font. I recently upgraded from and old version of Graphix Advantage to Flexi expert and want to get some of the old fonts from the Gerber. Is this possible? I tried to just install the Gerber font into windows to see if windows would convert it back but no go. I am running windows 2000 Pro.

Now that’s what you get when you switch to the other side. The only way I know how to do this would be the following:

1) Still need GA or Omega loaded
2) Create a job and type every character from the font and export each character in AI format
3) Purchase Fontographer ($$$) if it’s still around and rebuild the font

Or do a internet search for the original font, I think this is your best, fastest and cheapest way to go.
