Okay I figured it out, when Importing Vector AI File

You have to ensure that you select ~ Auto Spot Color Mapping

personally, I would start learning by designing within omega - get the basics down of foil selection, cut/not cut, knockout, overprint, etc

before trying to import and do all that

But i only need the program to print and cut I do everything on Adobe Illustrator
