Gerber Omega 5.0 With Windows 8

Hello all. My computer is on its last leg. I need to get a new one. My question is has anyone tried using Windows 8 with Gerber. I asked Gerber Tech support and all they said is it was not tested. Not that it wont work, but "we havent tested it". Has anyone looked into this?
Any help would be greatly appricated.

I am in the same boat. I called them yesterday and they told me it is good to go. New machine is being built now.
