Gerber Sabre 408 Control Panel

Hey All,

So, I don't see our Gerber router being replaced any time soon. But, the buttons on the control panel have been pushed many times and they are giving up.
Has anyone made one of these? Gerber wants like $1200 for the insert. Yes, the insert alone is that much. I thought they had misunderstood me and quoted the whole control panel. But, the woman with Gerber verified that this was for the insert only and recommended that I make one since I am a sign company.

I'd run an MPG(bluetooth or wired) and be done with the control panel, but that's just me.

This is Gerber. I wish they used generic control. But, they don't. I would have to replace ALL control hardware to be able to use those type parts.
Im right there with you, though. I wish it was that easy.
